MAY 13-17 | Walking with Purpose

Today, let's talk about walking with purpose—living with intentionality and passion as we pursue the unique calling God has placed on each of our lives.

In Ephesians 2:10, we read,

For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

This verse reminds us that we are not accidents; we are intentionally crafted by God with a specific purpose in mind. Our lives have meaning and significance, and God has entrusted us with specific tasks to fulfill His kingdom purposes.

Walking with purpose means seeking to align our lives with God's will and His plans for us. It's about discovering our gifts, talents, and passions and using them to glorify God and serve others. As 1 Peter 4:10-11 says,

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms... so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.

But walking with purpose also requires faith and trust in God's guidance. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Sometimes, God's plans may seem uncertain or challenging, but we can trust that He is leading us in the right direction. Walking with purpose means being intentional about our choices and priorities. It's about seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, as Matthew 6:33 instructs us. When we prioritize our relationship with God and seek His will above all else, He promises to guide us and provide for our needs.

So, let's commit to walking with purpose—to living each day with intentionality, passion, and faithfulness to God's calling on our lives. Let's embrace the unique gifts and opportunities God has given us and use them to make a difference in the world around us.
