MAY 6-10 | Grace Like A Wave

Scripture paints a vivid picture of this grace. In Ephesians 2:8-9, it says,

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.

Grace is not something we earn or deserve; it's a gift from God, given out of His boundless love for us.

For a moment, picture yourself catching a wave while surfing. Just as the wave carries you effortlessly, God's grace lifts us up and carries us through life's ups and downs. You didn’t ask for that wave, but it’s there, jump onto your surfboard at the right time and in the right moment and it will carry you to shore.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul writes,

My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Even in our weakest moments, God's grace sustains us and gives us strength.

But here's the thing about waves—they keep coming. No matter how many times you fall off your board, there's always another wave on the horizon. Likewise, no matter how many times we mess up, God's grace is always there, ready to pick us up and give us another chance. As Romans 5:20 tells us,

But where sin increased, grace increased all the more.

So, as we navigate through life, let's keep our eyes fixed on God's grace. Let's embrace His unconditional love and forgiveness, knowing that His grace is more abundant than we could ever imagine.
